Each time a new iPhone or another long-expected product (like those adidas shoes on related picture) blows up the market we see lines in front of the stores that look like a horde of crusaders at Jerusalem’s gate.
And until recently most of the brands barely cared about doing anything to help people standing in those lines live through that waiting – which sometimes lasted for several days straight – before folks from the Polish department of Adidas came up with an idea that restored our belief in retailer’s humanity.
On the day a new model appeared they distributed among their fans crowd control Cinta wristbands. Simple as hell, but great just as much – consecutively numbered paper bracelets were given out to every new guy struggling to get the desired pair of shoes, so that they could at least go reach for a coffee without losing their queue place.
